Landsman Development Corp. Underwrites Non-Profit Fundraiser

Genesee Land Trust is pleased to announce that its Forever Green Auction, held October 28th at Artisanworks received underwriting support from Landsman Development Corp. of Rochester.

Elliott Landsman, President of Landsman Development Corp. and Mayzon Corp since 1971, is a native Rochesterian, respected business leader and philanthropist. A 1989 recipient of the University of Rochester’s Associates Medal in recognition of his outstanding service to both the University and the community, Landsman is also the recipient of the 2001 Alexis de Tocqueville Award for outstanding volunteer contributions. Serving on boards of local businesses and charitable groups, this is Mr. Landsman’s first involvement with the local conservation organization.

The Forever Green Auction, with underwriting by Landsman Development Corp., is the primary fundraiser of Genesee Land Trust, which currently protects over 2500 acres in Greater Rochester. Executive Director, Gay Mills, speaking on behalf of the Trust, with a membership of 1000 families, extends heartfelt appreciation to Elliott Landsman and Landsman Development Corp. for its support.
