Walk-A-Thon For Genesee Land Trust Takes Place on October 25

 

Genesee Land Trust members and friends and the Penfield High School Environmental Club, will be taking a walk in Ellison Park on Saturday, October 25 from 10 AM until 2PM.  Students from the environmental club have been taking pledges that will benefit the land preservation organization.  This marks the 4th year that high school students have participated and the second year that Penfield High’s Environmental Club, under the guidance of faculty member, Michelle Duffy.  The Walk-a-thon was the idea of 16 year old Genesee Land Trust volunteer, Casia Moffatt.  Moffatt is now a sophomore at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
