Birding Through The National Parks
"Birding Through the National Parks," presented by Randi and Nic Minetor, Monday, March 8th at 7 p.m. at the Brighton Memorial Library, Learning Center, 2300 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, 14618: Join us for an informative and entertaining lecture and Power Point show.
"In their travels as an author/photographer team for Falcon Guides and The Globe Pequot Press (with 25 books completed to date), Randi and Nic Minetor have visited 262 of the 392 US national parks—and they've racked up an impressive tally of bird sightings along the way. Learn how to get to the only place to see flamingoes in North America, the migration behavior of the Colima warbler, the adaptive nesting of eastern bluebirds at Gettysburg, and much more. Nic's spectacular bird photos make this a fun and colorful topic." Learn more about Randi Minetor here! This lecture is free and open to the public. Visit the Brighton Memorial Library for more information.
