| Description: |
Mature woodlands and the stream corridor along
the Ganargua Creek with floodplains, wetlands and ponds. Across
the creek from the Wayne County Norsen Park, the preserve
protects a long stretch of Ganargua Creek. Trails are
planned both along the creek and in the woods where over thirty
species of wildflowers carpet the woods each year. |

The Preserve is named in honor of the Kraai
family. Doug and Becky Kraai Purchased the land in 1983. |

Trails to be developed at the end of Norsen Road. |
| Rules: |
All
properties are managed strictly for nature preservation.
Welcome uses include nature study, photography, and walking.
To avoid damaging vegetation, please stay on trails whenever
possible.

hunting or trapping

horses, motorized vehicles, or bicycles permitted
- All
dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after

removal of any vegetation or dead wood
- No
camping or fires
- No
trail cutting or marking of trees

respect neighboring properties

| Directions: |
Travel
east on Rte. 31 into the City of Newark. At the intersection
with Rte. 88 turn left (north). Follow Rte. 88 north
for about a mile. Turn right onto Welcher Road. Norsen
Road is approximately 2 miles north of Welcher Road intersecting
at the sharp right bend in the road. Follow Norsen Rd.
to its end.
