Adjacent to GLT’s Island Cottage Preserve, this is a 3-acre wooded parcel between the existing 61-acre Island Cottage Woods Preserve and the property known as “Schaller’s Woods.” Important bird migratory habitat.

Conservation easement originally donated to The Nature Conservancy. Transferred to Genesee Land Trust in 2002.

The owner generously allows the public to walk on the trail through his property which runs from Schaller’s woods on the north end to the Genesee Land Trust Island Cottage Preserve on the south end. Please stay on the trail.

Although Genesee Land Trust occasionally invites members on outings to a conservation easement property with the owner’s consent, conservation easement properties remain private property and therefore no public access is permitted.
