|
| History: |
Conservation easement donated by Peter Lyman in 2000. Mr.
Lyman desired his land to remain an oasis amidst dense surrounding
development to “preserve the wildlife aspect.”
Mr. Lyman: “I didn’t want construction and roads;
I treasure wildlife and think they get the raw end of the
deal. They get shut out and can’t vote.” |
| Public Access: |
Although Genesee Land Trust occasionally invites members
on outings to a conservation easement property with the owner’s
consent, conservation easement properties remain private property
and therefore no public access is permitted.
