Genesee Land Trust’s Butterfly Walk at Ganargua Creek Meadow
Preserve: Sunday, July 9th at 2pm
Enjoy this hotspot for butterflies at the Land Trust;s Ganargua
Creek Meadow Preserver in the town of Macedon. Led by naturalists,
Carol and David Southby, this expedition thorugh woodlands and into
the meadow will take place rain or shine. NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
Long pants and appropriate footgear are required as there is poison
ivy. Driving directions: From Route 31 in Macedon, turn south onto
Rt. 306 (Wayneport Road). Turn east onto Wilkinson Rd. At the crest
of the hill, turn south onto Bunker Hill Drive and proceed to the
end. Park at the end of the road; the Preserve trail begins up near
the water tower. This Genesee Land Trust walk is free and open to
