The permanently protected home of the Braddock Bay Bird Observatory,
a bird banding research organization that studies migratory
songbirds. This property is recognized as part of a major
bird migration stopover area.

Donated by William Kaiser in 1999, Braddock Bay Bird Observatory
has been banding birds on this site since 1985.

| Public Access: |
Available only with permission from Braddock Bay
Bird Observatory during bird banding season, May, June, August
and September, from sunrise until about 10 a.m.
Take the Ontario State Parkway west. Exit onto Manitou Beach
Road and go North toward Lake Ontario. It is on Braddocks Avenue,
which is the extension of Manitou Beach Road that bears to the
left as it approaches the Lake. Braddocks Avenue immediately
turns to the right again. At that point there is a gravel driveway
that leads to the Braddock Bay Observatory. |
