Wooded wetlands, open meadows, and hardwood uplands. Numerous
birds, exceptional variety of frogs.

| History: |
Donated to GLT in 1998 by RG&E as part of an environmental
benefits package to resolve an enforcement action by the NYS
DEC.

| Public Access: |
No marked trails. Preserve is north of Brook Rd,
bordered on one side by the Genesee Valley Greenway Trail. From
the intersection of Rte 252 (Jefferson Road) and Rte 353 (Scottsville
Road) in Chili, go south on 383, turn West on Brook Road. Park
in New York State Department of Parks parking lot on right.
Follow signs to the Genesee Valley Greenway Trail. Travel north
on the Trail approximately ¼ mile. Rough, unimproved,
and often wet trails extend into the preserve to the west from
this point. |

All properties are managed strictly for nature preservation.
Welcome uses include nature study, photography, and walking.
To avoid damaging vegetation, please stay on trail where possible.
- This is the only GLT Preserve that permits bow hunting
(in season)
- No horses, motorized vehicles, snowmobiles, or bicycles
permitted
- All dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after
- No removal of any vegetation or dead wood
- No camping or fires
- No trail cutting or marking of trees
- Please respect neighboring properties
