| Description: |
This preserve is made up of an upland area of hardwoods,
wildflowers and shrubs, the winding Ganargua Creek crossing
a broad floodplain, and an open meadow where food and cover
for birds and other animals is abundant. There is exceptional
butterfly habitat in the meadow.

| History: |
Donated in 1996 to Genesee Land Trust for preservation in
honor of Tim Johnson, by his mother, Cynthia Kesselring and
his step-father, Leo Kesselring.

| Access: |
From Rte 31 in Macedon, turn south on Rte 306
(Wayneport Road). Turn east onto Wilkinson Road. At the crest
of the hill turn south onto Bunker Hill Dr. Follow Bunker Hill
Dr to the end and park in the gravel area adjacent to the water
tower. The trail into the preserve starts at that point. (Trail
development in progress.) Property can be very wet in the spring.

All properties are managed strictly for nature preservation.
Welcome uses include nature study, photography, and walking.
To avoid damaging vegetation, please stay on trail where possible.
- No hunting or trapping
- No horses, motorized vehicles, or bicycles permitted
- All dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after
- No removal of any vegetation or dead wood
- No camping or fires.
- No trail cutting or marking of trees
- Please respect neighboring proper
