START YOUR GARDEN AND SUPPORT A GREAT CAUSE

Genesee Land Trust’s annual Native Plant Sale takes place Saturday, May 21st at the Brighton Town Hall, 2300 Elmwood Ave, from 8:30 to 2PM. Rain or shine, Land Trust volunteers will be selling Wild Ginger, Wild Columbine, Wild Geranium, Great Merrybells, Yellow Wood Poppy, Shooting Stars, Blue Flag Iris, White Doll’s Eye and much, much more. Fourteen nurseries are participating. Jim Engel, White Oak Nursery habitat landscaper, will be on hand to give expert advice. All proceeds support the conservation efforts of Genesee Land Trust - now in its 15 year - now protecting 1600 acres in Greater Rochester. Look for the GLT tents in front of the Town Hall.
