Expand Cornwall Preserve!

Today, your help is needed to expand the Cornwall Preserve by acquiring an adjacent parcel that has a long stretch along the Lake.

If you look at a map of the Lake Ontario shoreline, you can see the unique natural places you have helped to protect, from Island Cottage Woods in Greece, to Gosnell Big Woods Preserve in Webster, to a real North Coast treasure: the Cornwall Preserve.

The Cornwall Preserve is now a permanently protected place important for birds, wildlife, water and air, and for people too – especially the children of every generation. Since its acquisition, we have been opening up the Preserve with trails and making it a welcoming destination for neighbors and visitors. With the wide support of the community, the Cornwall Preserve has become a beautiful and unique asset of nature right on Lake Ontario.

This new addition would bring the total shoreline to ¾ mile of natural bluff and beach. This small, but significant, addition would also connect the walking paths along the Lake directly into Pultneyville on Hamilton Street Extension.

You can help expand the Cornwall Preserve with a gift before the end of the summer! Please give a gift today by clicking the button below.

Thank you!
