Genesee Land Trust’s mission is to protect natural lands and waters in the greater Rochester region and provide community connections to nature. Serving the City of Rochester, adjacent suburban towns, and rural communities, Genesee Land Trust has conserved more than 10,000 acres of land, protected 40 family farms, manages 19 nature preserves open to the public, and works with a wide and diverse array of partner organizations and municipalities.

Genesee Land Trust has 15 staff dedicated to preserving wildlife habitat, protecting local farms and food, and creating connections to nature.  Come join our team!
