Explore the fungus among us and learn how mushrooms help the ecosystem of Gosnell Big Woods in this walk led by experts from the Rochester Mycological Association. Please note - this is a walk to see and learn, NOT to forage for mushrooms.
Please bring a water bottle, dress for the weather, and wear comfortable shoes. Fun for all ages. Pets on a leash are welcome.
Accessibility: The hilly trail through the woods can be narrow and muddy after rain. Gravel off-street parking is available. There is no bathroom.
Covid safety: In accordance with the latest CDC guidance, masks are optional for fully vaccinated attendees. Please do not attend if you are not feeling well for any reason.
