Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Survey Workshop

  • Alasa Farms 6450 Shaker Road North Rose, NY, 14516 United States (map)

In partnership with Finger Lakes PRISM and Monroe CCE, Genesee Land Trust is hosting a workshop at Alasa Farms focused on protecting our region’s hemlock trees. The Hemlock Woolly Adelgid (HWA) is an invasive species that is threatening the health of our forests and killing Hemlocks. Hemlocks are a vital part of the Finger Lakes landscape.

This workshop will focus on educating folks on the threat HWA is to local ecosystems and how to identify HWA. A hands-on field survey will guide participants on how to practice detection and reporting techniques.

Prior registration is required to ensure you receive updates about the event. Please complete the the survey to secure your spot.
