Weber Farms II

Location: Town of Walworth, Wayne County

Size: 396 acres

Description: Weber Farms II is made up of three conservation easements that support the base of operations for the Weber Farms beef cattle operation. The easement consists mostly of open farm fields on prime soils, with areas of wetlands and deciduous woodlands throughout.

History: The conservation easements were granted by Weber Land, LLC (owned and operated by Emil Weber) in 2021 to Genesee Land Trust and the Town of Walworth. The purchase of these conservation easements was funded by a grant from the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Farmland Protection program.
