Description: Albright Farms II is made up of two conservation easements consisting primarily of row crops, with small portions of woodlands, wetlands, and a former vineyard close to Lake Ontario.
History: The conservation easements were granted by John and Liz Albright and Ontario Forests, Inc. in 2016 to Genesee Land Trust and the Town of Ontario. The purchase of these conservation easements were funded by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Farmland Protection Program and the Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program of the Natural Resource Conservation Service.
