Trail Description: The trailhead is located next to the parking lot and begins with a grass trail approximately 6’ in width, with slopes between 0-5%. The trail leads visitors to the back meadow, where a ¼ miles grass trail winds around the meadow. Near the bench, another trail leads visitors into the woods. This trail is narrower at 4’ and is compacted soil, with occasional uneven features including rocks, roots, and leaves. This woods trail is approximately ¼ mile and is a loop through the woods, with two wooden bridges with railings and ramps.

Parking: Parking is available at the preserve in a small gravel lot. If additional parking is needed, there is a lot across the street at Rothfuss Park.

Pets: Dogs, other pets, emotional support, comfort, and companion animals are not allowed at Genesee Land Trust events. Although your pet may be friendly, everyone has different familiarity and experiences with animals. Thank you for being respectful to other attendees.

Service Animals: Service animals, which are dogs or miniature horses that are specifically trained to perform tasks for people with disabilities, are welcome. Service animals must always be under the control of the handler, housebroken, cleaned up after, and vaccinated in accordance with state laws.
