Discover a world of tools and resources that make the outdoors more accessible. On this Outdoor Day of Discovery, come try out mobility devices that make it easier for you, your family, and friends to enjoy the great outdoors.
Mobility devices on hand will include:
The Freedom Grit
All-terrain chairs
Hand cycle
Free wheel
Front wheel
Huckleberry Hiker Chair
And more
Speak with individuals who use these devices about their experience and share your own as we pursue wider use of devices like this in our community. Additional tools will be on hand to show you how handheld devices – including monoculars, trekking poles, Sure-Grip fishing poles, and more – help make birding and wildlife observation, fishing, and hunting possible to do. Join us as we learn, demo, and discover ways to help you pursue an outdoor passion.
Do you have a piece of adaptive equipment that you want to show off? Email Caralie Fennessey at caralie@endless-highway.org.
RSVPs are appreciated, but not required.
This event is hosted in partnership between Endless Highway, Abilities Movement, and Genesee Land Trust.
