Thomas R. Frey Trail at El Camino Featured in Publication

The Thomas R. Frey Trail at El Camino connects the neighborhoods between Collingwood Drive and Scrantom Street in Rochester, traversing along Conkey Avenue to the Genesee River. Genesee Land Trust played an integral part in developing the abandoned railroad into a trail. Finished in 2012, the 2.25-mile trail is a community asset—a place to walk, bike, and connect with nature and each other.

The trail was featured in the August 2020 issue of the New York State Conservationist magazine, a publication of the Department of Environmental Conservation.
